Intimate moment between mother and baby - the tender connection that Wo-health supports and nurtures

Wo-health is dedicated entirely to postpartum recovery. Our work is rooted in a deep understanding of the physical healing, nervous system changes, emotional transitions, and identity shifts that follow birth.

This focus allows us to deliver care that is intentional, integrated, and designed specifically for mothers.

Why do mothers need structured postpartum support?

Mother's recovery is assumed, not supported.

After birth, a mother's healing is either ignored or expected to "just happen by itself."

Credible postpartum information is hard to find.

Mothers are left navigating conflicting advice, social media myths, and overwhelming content without clarity.

Support is scattered and fragmented.

A lactation consultant on one platform, a fitness coach somewhere else, a therapist somewhere else. Mothers are expected to manage their own recovery while caring for a newborn.

Mothers feel confused, lost, and isolated.

Despite being surrounded by family and friends, many mothers feel lonely and misunderstood by their loved ones.

Fitness as healing, not punishment. 💪

The weighing scale is the least meaningful measure of your health. Instead ask yourself —

Is my core getting stronger?
Are my energy levels good?

Nobody tells you about the identity shift. 🌸

You loved your baby instantly. But you also grieved your old self. Both things are true. Both are allowed.

About Wo-health

At Wo-health, we believe a mother's recovery deserves as much attention as the baby's arrival.

While the newborn naturally becomes the focus, the mother undergoes a profound transformation — physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. Many women describe feeling like an entirely new person after birth, as their body, identity, and life shift in ways nothing else quite compares to.

Yet despite the magnitude of this change, continuity of care for mothers is often missing. Once the immediate medical phase passes, women are expected to adjust, recover, and rebuild largely on their own.

Wo-health exists to provide that continuity. We bring together trusted professionals, evidence-based guidance, and a supportive community in one place so mothers don't have to piece together their healing alone.

We help you rebuild strength, regulate your nervous system, and restore emotional wellbeing, confidence, and identity after birth.

Founder's Story

Tanu, founder of Wo-Health, smiling warmly - a mother who understands the journey
Tanu Founder, Wo-health @movewithtanu

Hi, I'm Tanu, founder of wo-health and a mother navigating this incredible journey alongside you.

Despite giving birth in the Netherlands — a country known for its exceptional maternal care and extensive postnatal support — I found myself struggling with the profound identity transformation that comes with motherhood.

My healing journey led me through connection, coaching, and community support. These experiences showed me the power of having the right guidance and a supportive network during the postpartum period.

So after I moved back to India, I created wo-health — a supportive space where mothers can find the care, understanding, and expert guidance they need during this transformative time.

"The best gift for a newborn is a cared-for mother."
